We Will Change the Earth We Stand On

Student Health and Well-being

At BHSA we believe that a happy, healthy child is more likely to flourish and succeed.

Encouraging good mental health, along with good physical health is very important to all staff at BHSA.‘Without good mental health, our ability to learn and take in new information can be significantly affected. With strong mental health, we are better able to deal with what life presents us with, especially for young people at school, and to thrive in our choices’.

About BHSA

During their school life pupils will be given the skills to help them sustain lifelong learning and a successful future. We develop individuals who are confident, competent and compassionate, responsive to their environment and to the concerns and needs of others.

We pride ourselves on our all through education from Nursery right through to Sixth form, with pupils receiving high quality pastoral care and the highest standards in education during their time here.

At BHSA we want to work in partnership with our students and their families to ensure each and every girl flourishes during and beyond her time with us, capitalising on our glorious new and refurbished site and the skill and dedication of every member of staff.

What they say?

"When I was in year 6 I was really nervous about starting high school. On induction day I was buddied up with a couple of girls who had also joined BHSA on their own. We are still good friends now"
