GCSE Results 2024
Students and staff at BHSA are celebrating a set of GCSE results that reflect not only academic excellence, but also the resilience, dedication, and hard work of a remarkable cohort.
This year’s results have been met with delight across the school community, with outcomes across a wide range of subjects showcasing strong performance and steady progress. Students are to be congratulated on their perseverance and commitment to learning throughout their time at the school, particularly in light of the unique challenges faced earlier in their education.
Principal Rebecca Mahony expressed pride in the achievements of the students, saying:
“We are incredibly proud of our students and what they have accomplished. These results are a testament to their tenacity and the support of their teachers, families, and wider school community. Given the disruptions some of these students faced earlier in their school careers, their achievements are all the more impressive.”
Performance highlights include:
- Headlines: the percentage of students achieving grades 9–5 in English and maths has gone up significantly from last year.
We are delighted that many students are progressing to our Sixth Form which celebrated excellent results last week.
As students prepare for the next exciting chapter, the staff at BHSA commend them not only for their results, but for the maturity and spirit they have shown throughout their time in Key Stage 4.
