Rita's Reading Round Table - Fundraising Update
We would like to thank our school community for their donations so far towards Rita’ Reading Round Table memorial and are delighted to announce that our fundraising total currently stands at a fabulous £614. Rita was a special member of our school community who worked with all students at BHSA from ages 3 to 19, nurturing confidence, calm, and a lifelong love of reading.
With a further £386 required to reach our fundraising total, we’d like to invite any of our school community who have not done so already to contribute to donate via ParentPay and help us create a meaningful, lasting tribute to a truly special member of our BHSA family.
Rita played a truly special role in the lives of our students, staff and parents/carers. Whether supporting a young child taking their first steps in literacy or helping older students build confidence through reading, her gentle presence made a lasting difference across our whole school.
The Reading Round Table memorial space will be built in the school quad. This sustainable project will install tables made from recycled materials, providing a welcoming place for students to gather, read, and share books together, ensuring that Rita’s legacy continues to inspire future generations.
