Our Normandy Adventure

Our students have had an unforgettable and deeply moving trip to France, packed with vital history, incredible sights, and lifelong memories. The journey was filled with poignant reflections as we visited the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach and the British Memorial at Gold Beach, giving everyone a profound sense of the historical importance of the region.

We also spent a fantastic afternoon in Arromanches, where we enjoyed a sunny picnic lunch overlooking the coast before exploring the Musée du Débarquement and experiencing the immersive Cinema 360. Our final stop took us to the picturesque town of Honfleur, where everyone enjoyed a well-deserved treat of delicious ice cream beside the beautiful historic harbour.

The talent and high spirits of our girls shone through the entire journey, especially during our service station stop on the way home where our wonderful piano players and singers completely serenaded the group with impromptu musical performances.

A huge thank you goes out to all the staff members who made this trip possible, and a massive well done to our students for being such fantastic ambassadors for BHSA throughout the entire tour. Welcome home, everyone!
