Remote Learning Arrangements

Information for Parents and Carers

At Birkenhead High School Academy, we are committed to providing a high-quality, continuous education for all our pupils. In the exceptional event that an individual pupil, a specific class, or the whole school cannot attend site physically, our comprehensive remote learning plan ensures that no child’s education is disrupted. Our primary digital learning platform is Google Classroom where work is set and submitted.

Should remote education be required, our aim is to deliver a curriculum that closely aligns with what pupils would be learning in the classroom. The Remote Curriculum: Pupils will have access to a full timetable of learning, covering the same core subjects and topics as their peers in school.

Digital Access and Support

We understand that accessing technology can sometimes be a challenge. If your child does not have access to a reliable digital device or internet connection at home, please contact the school office immediately. Note: If digital access is completely unavailable, the school can arrange for physical, paper-based work packs to be collected or distributed.
