    We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible sporting achievements of Year 7 student, Alexandra, who has had an absolutely phenomenal squash season.

    Alexandra’s dedication to her sport is unmatched. Most weekends, while many of us are relaxing, Alexandra and her family are travelling the length and breadth of the country—competing in tournaments as far afield as Exeter, Newcastle, Lancashire, and Yorkshire.

    A huge thank you to Tesco, Rock Ferry for your incredibly kind donations.

    Our school gardens will be blooming in no time thanks to all the beautiful plants, seeds, and gardening goodies. The pupils have absolutely loved getting involved, from planting seeds to caring for the new flowers and learning all about growing their own garden.

  • BHSA Juniors Go the Extra Mile for Incubabies

    On Friday, 17th April, our amazing Junior School students laced up their trainers and took to the field for the Purple Mile event. It was a day filled with energy, determination, and a whole lot of purple!

    The girls completed a sponsored one-mile run to support a cause very close to our hearts:  IncuBabies. This wonderful charity provides life-saving equipment and essential support for the Neonatal Ward at Wirral Women and Children's Hospital.

  • Staff Volleyball Match Nets Huge Success

    Our Sixth Form Head Girls Team hosted an action-packed Staff Volleyball match this week, drawing a massive crowd and raising vital funds for their chosen charity, the Charles Thompson Mission.

    The sports hall was buzzing as students cheered on their teachers in a series of highly competitive (and often hilarious) sets. Thanks to the incredible turnout and the generosity of our school community, the event was a resounding success.

  • Friendship, Kindness & Self-Care Week

    Get ready to spread some positivity! From Monday, 9th February to Thursday, 12th February, our school will be hosting a special Friendship, Kindness & Self-Care Week.

    Organised by the Inclusion Team, this week is dedicated to celebrating the qualities that make our community strong: empathy, respectful behaviour, and building positive relationships. 

    In Loving Memory of Rita This event is being held in loving memory of Rita. To honour her spirit, we will be focusing on how we can accept others exactly as they are and support one another.

    Get Involved!

    • Drop in Sessions will take place on the Mezzanine. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday sessions will be run by the Inclusion Team, Thursday's session will be run by Jo Seggie (HSIS) which will focus on healthy relationships. 
    • Craft Sessions will take place on Tuesday and Thursday in F105.
    • Sixth Form session will take place in the Sixth Form block reception area, 13:10-13:40 on Thursday. (run by Helen and Mrs Byrne). 

    Everyone is welcome to join in. Let’s come together to make this a wonderful week of kindness across the whole school community! We are suggesting a donation of 50p from participants. All funds raised will go towards Rita's reading table.

  • Junior Entrepreneurs Shine at the Five Pound Challenge Marketplace

    Last week, our Junior School hall was transformed into a bustling hub of commerce as our young entrepreneurs took part in the much-anticipated Five Pound Challenge Marketplace.

    From creative crafts to fun interactive games, the variety of stalls was a highlight of the day. Shoppers were treated to a brilliant selection, such as hand-crafted Parachute Cord Bracelets and 'Worry Dolls' for sharing secrets. Another crowd favourite was the 'Positive Pins'—custom badges designed to spread a little extra kindness around the school.
