BHSA Beats the January Blues!
Our school community recently came together to "Beat the Blues" with an energetic series of bingo events held over two weeks. The sessions were designed to raise much-needed funds for the Charles Thompson Mission, transforming the often-dreary winter months into a celebration of music and fun.
While the primary activity was bingo, this wasn't your average game. Attendees were treated to "bingo with a twist," where specific numbers triggered songs for everyone to sing and dance along to. Whether students purchased a 50p ticket to play for prizes or just came to soak up the atmosphere, the energy in the Theatre and Heart Space was electric.
We would like to extend a massive thank you to the BHSA Head Girl Team for their incredible efforts in organising and running these events. From managing ticket sales in the Heart Space to ensuring everyone had their pens ready for the big game, their leadership made this fundraiser a resounding success.
The "Beat the Blues" bingo successfully combined school spirit with charitable giving, proving that even the coldest months can be warmed by community and a bit of dancing.
